Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology

Course Description
Gross anatomy of domestic animals including physiological explanations of how each organ system functions. Veterinary terminology will also be included, with an introduction to word parts, directional terminology, and analysis of common veterinary terms. Prerequisite: Prior to registration for this course, applicants are required to complete an online orientation and meet with the program coordinator. Computer and internet access required for online quizzes and testing.
Photo Digital Imaging I

Course Description
This course is a comprehensive introduction to Adobe Photoshop with practical applications of digital imaging and preparing photographic artwork for print and digital media. Throughout the course, students will establish proficiency with the Adobe Photoshop interface and tools, and will gain an understanding of file formats, color management, image resolution, and pixel depth for differing output needs. Digital Imaging I is integrated with PHTC 1300, and is a pathway into the Department of Professional Photography workforce program.
Outlook 2013 Introduction

Course Description
Learn how to manage your email, calendar, and contacts, and how to streamline and automate your work with keyboard shortcuts, rules, Search Folders, and Quick Steps. Also learn about the redesigned Contacts section of Outlook (now called People). You'll discover how Outlook can connect to your social networks, and discuss the pros and cons of making those connections.
Wind Ensemble

This class is designed for full or part-time students who desire to improve their performance levels on band instruments, observe rehearsal methods and techniques, and learn band organizational strategies. Combined with credit MUEN-1126.
Conditioning-Walk/Jog

Course Description
A physical conditioning course that emphasizes cardiovascular fitness through your choice of walking, jogging, or a combination of both. Students will not be required to run. Correct techniques in striding and form will be introduced in addition to discussion of the benefits of aerobic exercise, nutrition, weight management, and associated topics. Practical, general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the employer, college, and student. Integrated with college credit PLAB-1166.
Conversational Portuguese III
Program Area: Lifelong Learning
Course Description
This course is designed for those who have completed Conversational Portuguese II or have knowledge of important verb tenses and enough vocabulary to comprehend and start a conversation in Portuguese. Students will engage in guided small-group conversations, using Brazilian cultural vocabulary and important grammar aspects of the language.
