Students will practice appropriate workplace behavior, learn about building healthy friendships and how to handle conflict. This course is geared toward supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This intensive program will prepare you for a job as a Web Developer. It will teach you how to design, develop, test and deploy front-end, back-end, database and services in the cloud using highly sought after technologies today. You will immerse in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, Linux, Git, AWS etc. You will learn how to design and build backend systems including SQL database schemas, RESTful APIs and services. You will learn how to work in a multi-developer team, using tools like Git, Github and Atlassian Jira. Suggested prerequisite is basic computer knowledge. Prior programming language is not required, but would help you navigate the bootcamp materials and projects.

This course examines the complete process of creating a Landscape Plan from presentation graphics, complex outdoor room design and modeling, to installation estimating and implementation. (Prerequisites to this course: HALT 1071 Landscape Design or HALT 1074 Planting Design and HALT 1053 Landscape Computer Design) Please see Course Syllabus for course outline and required text.
Provides training in the specific techniques necessary for jazz ensemble performance. Emphasizes both ensemble and solo playing. Repertoire varies according to emphasis. Combined with credit MUEN-1121.
Understanding and working with your soil is essential to farming and ranching. Introduction to Soil is a study of the physical properties of soil including structure and texture. Topics include the origin and development of soils, the composition of soil horizon, and the interrelationship between soil fertility and plants. Emphasis will be placed on different methods for soil conservation and soil building practices in sustainable agriculture.
This course combines a two-day live workshop and competency assessments, along with pre-course reading, and significant online/ distance learning (DIL) coursework, followed by four, proctored, written examinations, to train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in sterile compounding and aseptic technique (SCAT). All course activities are designed to be completed within a four month timeframe; however, motivated students may be able to move through the online coursework and written testing more quickly. The two-day, hands-on workshop is held in our state-of-the-art training facility in Austin, Texas. All other coursework is completed online using our Blackboard Learning Management System. This course requires significant preparatory work to be ready for the rigorous live workshop. The live workshop will consist of a brief review of USP<797>; standards and basic aseptic technique principles, followed by a series of competency assessment procedures. CPE activity completers will receive a frame-able certificate of completion and upload of ACPE credit of (40 hours, 4.0 CEUs) into CPE monitor. This is a Practice-Based Activity. Prerequisites: Certified (PTCB) pharmacy technician and/or registered pharmacy technician/pharmacy technician trainee; or registered pharmacist/pharmacy intern; or be enrolled in or have completed an ACPE Accredited or ASHP/ACPE Accredited Pharmacy Technician program; or have a minimum of six months of pharmacy experience. Preferred: one or more years of sterile compounding experience.
