Course Description

In this course, students will learn to use standard English grammar in writing paragraphs and compositions. Students work on developing effective simple, compound and complex sentences and using them in their writing. Students are exposed to the modes of argument, process, comparison contrast and classification. This is the first course in a series designed to prepare ESOL student to handle the writing tasks they will encounter in college-credit level courses and the workplace. Students will also complete lab projects enforcing these concepts. Integrated with credit ESOL-0372. Qualifies for student health insurance.
