Intro Practical Mycology: Edible Mushroom Cultivation

Course Description

Edible Mycology students will learn about the common edible mushrooms that can be cultivated or gathered in this region depending on season or climate controlled space. Students will also learn about the growing options for home fungal cultivation available to the hobbyist as well as resources to continue and expand or scale up their own production in the future. Students will complete the course with their choice of live mycelium liquid culture or inoculated grain spawn for use in their future edible mushroom production.
