? What are the computer requirements for this course when taken online?

A laptop with at least a 14-15 inch display is highly recommended. Some students prefer a second (additional) monitor as it can make it easier to navigate the multiple open windows for the lab kit and lab window.

The computer / operating system can either be a Windows or Mac PC. Suggested processor specifications are at least an Intel Core i5 series.

While enrolled in the ACC AWS Solutions Architect Associate Course I was successful in achieving the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential. The class is structured to allow students to test for both the AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Cloud Solution Architect. Our instructor, Mark Trimble is extremely knowledgeable of AWS Cloud concepts and very effective in communicating these complex concepts in a simple, understandable fashion. He provided real-life examples of how we could use these concepts but more importantly how to apply the logic in trouble shooting AWS Cloud and on-premise transformations.





Our class was interactive, we asked many questions for which Mark was able to help us think through the process of elimination to derive our own answer... this was an amazing approach to facilitate our learning! Our lab exercises were performed in an AWS Cloud environment using the Management Console and the labs became progressively more complex as we increased our knowledge base. The class provides an excellent instructor led learning venue for adults developing new skills, expanding upon current knowledge and for hands-on AWS Cloud experience.





I greatly prefer the ACC instructor led learning environments due for spontaneous questions/answer interactions with various levels of student contributions. I strongly recommend anyone wanting to pursue AWS Cloud credentials to take the ACC classes.
