Practiced as a Nursing Professional in Southern California for 26 years before relocating to Texas in 1997. Spent 1 year teaching in Saudi Arabia. Social Insurance Hospital of Riyadh including ACLS for Social Insurance Hospital nursing staff and physicians and Medical students King Saud University Medical School, Riyadh.

Been associated with Austin Community College since 2000. Approved by DADS as Director of Nurse Aide Training Programs since 2013. Coordinator of the Nurse ReEntry Program since 2018. Taught and Coordinated ACC Nurse Aide Training Programs 2000 to 2018. Contracted by local High Schools to assist with Nurse Aide Training Programs.

Member of Steering Committee for Review of Texas Certified Nurse Aide Curriculum HHSC Texas. Member of Steering Committee for Curriculum for Advanced Nurse Aide Training Academy HHSC Texas 2018. August 2018 assumed responsibility for Coordinating the RN and LVN Nurse ReEntry Programs Continuing Education.
