Courses In Our Assessment Test Preparation Area
Austin Community College Continuing Education is pleased to offer test preparation services. Whether it is a graduate school exam such as the GRE, LSAT, GMAT or an English-language test, such as the TOEFL, we have a preparation course that will help you gain the skills you need to perform at your best.
Classes are either self-paced or live-online. Our self-paced classes allow students to progress at a pace that works for them. Our live-online classroom provides the opportunity to interact in real-time with our expert instructors.
The web course is self paced and divided into 30 self-contained units or lessons. Each unit takes about one hour to complete (depending on your familiarity with the subject matter and level of concentration while you’re working). The units are arranged according to an overall plan and divided by subject matter reflecting the sections of the GMAT Test: Verbal, Quantitative, Integrated Reasoning, and Analytical Writing Assessment. For each subject, you begin with the basics; then you put the basics into a plan for that subject; then you assemble all of the subjects together in a single area. PLEASE NOTE: IMPORTANT - AFTER REGISTERING, YOU MUST EMAIL Debra Jackson djackson@austincc.edu and provide your mailing address, phone number and email for materials to be mailed. Students will receive login information via email from Cambridge Educational Services within 48-hours of enrolling in the course (please check junk or spam folders if no e-mail received in this time period). Students will receive supplemental materials in the mail (retired GMAT tests and a practice book) to give exposure to real exam questions. Course will expire in five months of registering. NO REFUNDS AFTER START DATE.
