Students will learn tools, mechanics, elements, and principles of design, as well as cut flower identification, care, and handling. Students in this course will learn designs appropriate for various holidays, including Valentine's Day and Christmas, and how to modify designs for everyday occasions.

Students in this course will learn designs appropriate for various special occasions, including birthdays, Homecoming, new baby, and more. Designs learned can be modified for everyday occasions. Students will also have the opportunity to learn other design styles including Contemporary, Ikebana, European and Tropical. Floral Design Principles is recommended but not required as a prerequisite....*

Students in this course will learn sympathy designs such as casket sprays and easel pieces. This class also covers the business of floristry.

Students in this course will learn designs appropriate for weddings, including bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and ceremony and reception decorations. Floral Design Principles is suggested as a prerequisite.
