Course Description

Led by filmmaker, Francine Michelle, learn the ins and outs of creating strong film scenes from script refinement through production. Students will collaborate to choose scenes from plays, films, television, or short stories. They will then be refined, rehearsed, shot, and edited for their individual reels. All students are required to participate in all aspects of the creative process. Attendance at all classes is required. Rehearsals outside of class are required. The instructor will help guide students in creating or choosing characters that best showcase their type and talent. Pre-requisite for the class is Acting Explorations I, and Acting On Camera I & II or prior on-camera experience. Submission of a resumé and instructor approval is required. Limited to 8 students.
