Course Description

This course explores what it means to be an informed and responsible citizen in today’s political environment. Students will develop a practical framework for understanding political systems, evaluating information, and engaging in civic life. The course takes a nonpartisan approach to examining political parties, candidates, and issues while emphasizing critical thinking, media literacy, and civil discourse. Students will learn to engage constructively across differing viewpoints and participate meaningfully in their communities. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to contribute as informed, respectful, and active citizens.
