| We will cover basic camera operation and controls: shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc. and familiarize ourselves with the technical and aesthetic process of taking photographs: composition, context, obvious and subtle themes, and subject. We will learn how to make simple and dynamic photographs with in-class projects and critiques to learn from each other. A point-and-shoot camera will work, but a camera with manual controls will give the best opportunity for learning how to get the desired results. | |
