Course Description

This course helps students prepare for the Project Management Institute's Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification exam. Upon completion, students can finish the preparation that they started during the course and take the exam. The goals for this class are: Review the 4 values and 12 principles from the Agile Manifesto, Review all major Agile methodologies (Scrum, Extreme Programming, Lean, and Kanban)in the Agile Practice Guide published by PMI with the help of class slides, Quick review the core concepts in Agile at a rapid pace to help understand the best approach to studying for and passing the exam. Suggested prerequisite is: Introduction to Principles of Agile class (BMGT 1078) or similar 8 hour course in Agile.
