This class is designed for actors with prior training who are beginning their professional acting journey, seeking representation, or interested in learning about the business of acting. Students will learn what makes a professional headshot, how to build and format a resume, and how to cut together a quality demo reel. Students will create personal websites, as well as profiles on the major casting websites. We’ll end by discussing the logistics of getting an agent and sustaining an acting career in the Austin market.
Instruction for all levels of skill in the fundamentals of basketball. Emphasis upon the development and improvement of total fitness, skill and general knowledge about basketball for leisure time use. Exploration of the business practices of the jewelry industry through analysis of current real-world scenarios; examination of practical business needs such as security and insurance; review of applicable copyright and trademark laws; and discussion of contemporary business culture. Combined with credit JLRY-1417.
This course is intended for those who have knowledge of essential verb tenses and basic vocabulary. Students will engage in guided small-group conversations, using Brazilian cultural vocabulary and important grammar aspects of the language.

Publishing, design, and layout techniques for websites. Introduces HTML tables and forms. Demonstrates CSS styling of tables and forms. Introduces CSS page layout and interactive menu creation techniques. Hands-on experience in building web pages using techniques covered in class. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to World Wide Web Authoring, HTML and CSS, similar course, or equivalent experience.
