Course Description

This course will address topics such as Production processes, Manufacturing Essentials and Instruments, Mechanical Fundamentals, and various safety topics such as OSHA Fundamentals, Electrical Safety, Lockout/Tagout, as well as Materials Handling and Rigging.


End of Course Outcomes: Students will be able to safely and correctly work with tools commonly used in various manufacturing environments. They will be able to determine resources available for the production process, perform and monitor the process to make the product correctly and safely.
