Fundamentals for Business Admin Specialists

Salesforce Fundamentals for Business Administration explores the CRM application from a user's perspective including Navigation, User Interface, Reports, the Email Client, and the Sales Management module.

Who Should Enroll?

The course is designed for new system administrators responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of their organization's Salesforce platform and applications.

Other roles that regularly interact with Salesforce would benefit from the course, including those in sales, marketing, operations, IT support, business administration, and data management.

Suggested Prerequisites

General computer knowledge including navigation with a web browser.

Salesforce Administration Essentials for New Admins

Salesforce Administration Essentials for New Admins is a comprehensive, hands-on course that will ensure your success with Salesforce. It's a must for new administrators and is recommended as preparation for the Salesforce Certified Administrator exam.

Who Should Enroll?

The course is designed for new system administrators responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of their organization's Salesforce platform and applications.

Other roles that regularly interact with Salesforce would benefit from the course, including those in sales, marketing, operations, IT support, business administration, and data management.

Suggested Prerequisites

To ensure success in the course, it is recommended that students have foundational knowledge of the Salesforce platform, and some experience working within the Setup interface.

Any of these prerequisites strongly recommended are for the course:

  • Successful completion of ITSW-1005 Salesforce Fundamentals for Business Administration, or
  • At least 6 months real world experience working with Salesforce in a job, or
  • A passing score on the Salesforce Certified Associate / Platform Foundations Exam, or
  • Attainment of "Mountaineer" rank on Trailhead before the first class, and completion of the Protect Your Salesforce Data Trail, both available through trailhead.salesforce.com.
