To ensure success in the course, it is recommended that students have foundational knowledge of the Salesforce platform, and some experience working within the Setup interface.
Any of these prerequisites strongly recommended are for the course:
- Successful completion of ITSW-1005 Salesforce Fundamentals for Business Administration, or
- At least 6 months real world experience working with Salesforce in a job, or
- A passing score on the Salesforce Certified Associate / Platform Foundations Exam, or
- Attainment of "Mountaineer" rank on Trailhead before the first class, and completion of the Protect Your Salesforce Data Trail, both available through trailhead.salesforce.com.
