This is a fast paced course that will prepare Linux administrators for the second of two exams to obtain the LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute (lpi.org). Through lecture, demonstration, and hands on practice you will learn essential Linux system administration skills to advance your IT career and prove your Linux knowledge with a technical certification recognized throughout the industry. The course is taught by an instructor with more than 20 years of Linux experience. Course tuition does not include the required book (ISBN-10: 1119582121). One book covers the complete objectives for both exams. Additional study materials may be provided by the instructor. Suggested prerequisite is basic knowledge of computers and at least 3 months of hobbyist experience with Linux is suggested. Completion of CPMT-1075 or similar is recommended but not required.
