| Students will gain a conceptual understanding of the Oracle database architecture and how its components work and interact with one another. Students will also learn how to create an operational database and properly manage the various structures in an effective and efficient manner including performance monitoring, database security, user management, and backup/recovery techniques. Students will learn upgrade planning and execution. The lesson topics are reinforced with structured hands-on practices. Prepares students for the Oracle Database 12c: Installation and Administration exam (1Z0-062) which is a requirement of the Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Associate and Oracle Database 12c Certified Professional certifications. Note that this course includes content from two Oracle Education courses: Oracle Database 12c: Install and Upgrade Workshop and Oracle Database 12c: Administration Workshop. Suggested prerequisites: ITSW 1007 Oracle Database 12c: Introduction to SQL or exception granted by the instructor for prior experience. | |
