| The Certified Wireless Technician (CWT) course, provides the knowledge and training to successfully prepare students for the CWT certification exam from the industry respected, vendor-neutral CWNP organization. This course is offered as a synchronous, on-line experience with instructor-led learning outcomes, as well as, additional resources for further study and future reference, if needed. A CWT is a recognized individual who can install and configure APs for initial operations and ensure connectivity. The individual can troubleshoot basic problems and assist users in‐person or thru remote communications. This individual is not responsible for WLAN architecture, analysis, or security design and may not be aware of the actual RF design or the full feature set in use to implement the WLAN. Students must have access to a computer with web browser and internet connectivity supporting the on-line format. Official CWT materials are provided with the course including: Study Guide, Course Guide notebook, eLearning content access, practice test and exam voucher. Suggested prerequisite is general knowledge of computers, on-line browser experience, and a desire to learn. | |
