Yoga increases the mind-body connection for actors. Participants will be guided through a weekly 60-minute Vinyasa Flow and encouraged to focus on breath and body awareness to build internal and external strength and stillness. The breath and movement built into the class deepen the ability to find calm when needed and bring ease to both connection and expression. By the end of the course, participants will have begun and/or continued to build a Yoga practice and a foundation of mindfulness. No prior Yoga experience is necessary. This course is intended to be repeated for ongoing practice. BRING YOUR OWN YOGA MAT.
