Course Description

This course presents an introduction to oral interpreting for individuals who are fluent in English and Spanish. Topics include interpreter roles and ethics and intensive practice of consecutive interpreting and sight translation skills as used in community and medical settings. Prerequisites: Introduction to Translation and Interpreting and passing a language fluency test.
