Course Description

In this professional dog grooming course—Hands-on Training , students gain experience bathing, brushing, drying, and caring for canine coats while mastering the eight most common grooming styles of professional salons. Taught by an American Kennel Club S.A.F.E and verified instructor, this course will provide you with the comprehensive grooming techniques needed to be successful in the pet grooming industry. Students will learn to groom with care, safety, and expertise! Powered by Groom Curriculum ™, students will build a professional grooming portfolio, demonstrating their abilities to give them a competitive edge in the job market. Upon completion of the hands-on training, students will qualify to sit for the AKC Professional Groomer Credential (PGC) Exam, demonstrating their technical proficiency and readiness for a career in professional grooming.
