Joe Salvato

Joe Salvato started his own Landscape Design firm four years ago to meet the needs of creative homeowners in the Austin area who were looking for a landscape designer with a flair for style. Joe has an agricultural business degree, with an emphasis on horticulture and land planning. With his love for plants and eye for detail, he put both together to find his dream of becoming a plant designer. By practicing in the Central Texas area, he has gained an extensive knowledge of native plants, and plants that have been naturalized to the local area. He has a special interest in modern and Asian-inspired design.

Joe is also involved in sustainability in the landscape industry. During his tenure as vice-president of the local chapter of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, he helped to plan and present a two-day symposium on sustainable landscapes, which was attended by designers across Texas and the greater southwest. Joe currently resides in Austin, Texas.
