This class will be conducted in an online/hybrid format. Students will need to log into Blackboard for course content, course dates, and course information. There will be two face to face meeting times. The dates and times are Aug 22 or 24 (Highland Learning Center Room 1306) and Sep 20 or 22 from 1300 to 1700 (Highland Learning Center Room 1305). This course will also be Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) approved for Fire Instructor I certification. TCFP skills testing will be conducted on a date and time set by the instructor. Students (seeking TCFP Fire Instructor I certification) will be required to meet face-to-face to complete the TCFP skills. Additionally, as mandated by TCFP requirements, students will need to take an end of course proctored exam. This will be conducted at the time of skill testing unless otherwise notified by the instructor.
