Describes the architecture, components, operations, and security to scale for large, complex networks, including wide area network (WAN) technologies. Emphasizes network security concepts and introduces network virtualization and automation. This course covers quality of service (QoS) mechanisms used for secure remote access. It also introduces software-defined networking, virtualization, and automation concepts that support the digitalization of networks. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to Networks and Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials courses or an equivalent level of knowledge.
An introduction to computer-aided drafting. Emphasis is placed on setup; creating and modifying geometry; storing and retrieving predefined shapes; placing, rotating, and scaling objects, adding text and dimensions, using layers, coordinate systems, and plot/print to scale.
(Electrocardiography - Intro is included in this class). Emphasis is on patient-centered assessment, examination, intervention, and treatment as directed by physician, including vital signs, collection and documentation of patient information, asepsis, minor surgical procedures, and other treatments as appropriate for the medical office.
Ethical considerations based on social and human services standards. Includes comparison of ethical codes, confidentiality, dual relationships, guidelines for web counseling, ethical considerations dealing with broadcast media, diversity and multiculturalism.
