This course prepares students for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) "Six Sigma Black Belt" certification exam. The course is a refresher study of the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge. Topics include enterprise-wide deployment, business process management, project management, Six Sigma improvement methodology and tools (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control phases), lean enterprise principles, and Design for Six Sigma. The student will focus on the theory and application of these topics by studying the course materials and taking and reviewing sample exams containing questions similar to those on the actual CSSBB exam. Note that this course does not include the ASQ certification exam. This class is recommended for educational aides/paraprofessionals to become familiar working with special education students. This course covers Special Education topics such as IDEA, FAPE, IEP, physically impaired students, crisis intervention and LRE. Assessments are performance-based and take place throughout the course. The ACC bootcamp covers Full stack Javascript Software, Git, and many more technologies.
In order to get prepared for the Bootcamp, ACC is offering a Bootcamp Prep Course. In this prep course, you will work on essential computer and math skills. This 2 week long course will help navigate the rigor of the Bootcamp.
Bootcamp Prep Course includes:
-Familiarity with web technologies: HTML
-Simple programming concepts using online gaming environments like MIT Scratch
-Use of computer tools including: Linux Command Line, Git/Github, Visual Studio Code
-Familiarity with your computer's operating system, including Windows 10, Windows Subsystem Linux and Mac OSX
-Refresh of basic math and logic skills that would help you get ready for a career in technology

Health Information Coding Specialists apply ICD-9-CM, ICD10-CM and CPT-4 codes used in the reporting and billing of medical services and procedures. Most specialists will be employed in hospitals, but job growth will be faster in offices and clinics of physicians, nursing homes and home health agencies. Prerequisite: HITT 1013.
Integrated Pest Management Basics for Sustainable...
This course will discuss local agricultural pests and their impact on crops in Central Texas. Topics will include building and maintaining healthy soil, plant and insect biological cycles , identification and diagnosis of pest problems, and the selection, implementation and theory of integrated pest management.
*This class is taught asynchronously, which means there are no set meeting times and the students are able to complete the lessons and activities at their own pace through Blackboard. However, live sessions will be held as needed. The information will be posted to Blackboard Announcements.
