Course Description
CompTIA Security+ Exam SY0-701 provides a basic overview of General Security Concepts, Security Architecture, Security Operations, Security Program Management & Oversight, and Threats, Vulnerabilities & Mitigations. The course builds a firm foundation for more advanced security certifications/roles. Course material is targeted toward an Information Technology (IT) professional who has networking and administrative skills in TCP/IP networks and familiarity with a networkable operating system (such as NetWare, UNIX/Linux, or Microsoft). This course enables students to begin or further a career in Cybersecurity by acquiring a foundational knowledge of security topics; prepare for the CompTIA Security+ Certification examination; or use Security+ as the foundation for advanced security certifications or career roles. There is a primary textbook which will be required. Suggested prerequisites: one to three years IT experience, CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications, or equivalent knowledge. This is an ONLINE course requiring a stable internet connection, and a current web browser. Audio is provided via computer or telephone line (a dial-in phone number will be available as an alternate audio connection). A computer web-camera option is preferred but not required. A Zoom test meeting to ensure compatibility is available at support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115002262083-Joining-a-Test-Meeting. This class utilizes Blackboard Ultra and is held online via Zoom.
Basic Firearms: Pistol Fundamentals

Course Description
This is a 16 hour course consisting of an online introduction, classroom lecture, and range training. Skills covered will include: firearm and range safety protocols, pistol nomenclature, loading and unloading, grip, stance, trigger manipulation, and firearms storage and cleaning. By completion of the course students will have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of marksmanship and be able to safely and proficiently handle a pistol with confidence. No prerequisite required. Pistol and ammunition are provided. This class consists of 4 hours online training , 4 hours classroom and 8 hours of range.
Google IT Support Certificate

This program, developed by Google, prepares students for an entry-level role in IT support such as in-person or remote help desk work in a small business or at a global company like Google. Through a mix of video lectures, quizzes, and hands-on labs and widgets, the program will introduce you to troubleshooting, customer service, networking, operating systems, system administration and security. You will be responsible for working through the online course materials at your own pace. This curriculum maps to CompTIA’s A+ certification exams.

Creating a compelling portrait involves more than just technical skills; it requires a deep understanding the context, and the intended use of the image. This course delves into the art and technique of portrait photography, emphasizing the importance of knowing who you're photographing, why, and how the final image will be utilized. Whether an interior or exterior, the photograph reveals or reflects something poignant about a person. Body language, wardrobe, and facial expression; when all the elements synchronize, the picture can become timeless. Participants are expected to have a foundational knowledge of camera operations, including lenses, exposure, and lighting. Utilizing a camera with interchangeable lenses is recommended to fully explore the course content.
Introduction to Sketching and Drawing

Course Description
This course is an introduction to the art of drawing and sketching. Students will learn how to sketch objects and incorporate backgrounds. Techniques using pencil and color pencil will be explored using loose gestural techniques and transitioning to more complex drawings. Proportion using sighting techniques, gestures, contour, and shading will be applied.

Course Description
This class is an introduction to guitar fundamentals. Topics will include major chords, strumming technique, and basic music theory. This is a good opportunity to explore the guitar in a friendly, low stress environment. Guitar and pick required; acoustic or classical guitars preferred but electric guitars are acceptable.
