Covers typical hardware and operating system problems encountered by technicians and teaches troubleshooting techniques to decipher basic and more advanced problems. The course also shows how to maintain and optimize a Windows PC.
Gross anatomy of domestic animals including physiological explanations of how each organ system functions. Veterinary terminology will also be included, with an introduction to word parts, directional terminology, and analysis of common veterinary terms. Prerequisite: Prior to registration for this course, applicants are required to complete an online orientation and meet with the program coordinator. Introduction to the study and analysis of the process of writing for film by examining story concept, theme, characterization, structure, and script formatting, and by creating synopses and treatments. Possible markets for creative writing will be discussed.
Taught by a native speaker, students in this class will expand on what they have learned in Conversational Italian II. This course will help students develop better listening to real conversations, practice in speaking, and focus on correct pronunciation. Prerequisite: Conversational Italian II. Includes comparison of ethical codes, confidentiality, dual relationships, guidelines for web counseling, ethical considerations dealing with broadcast media, diversity and multiculturalism. Integrated with college credit SCWK 1303.
This course is intended for those who have knowledge of essential verb tenses and basic vocabulary. Students will engage in guided small-group conversations, using Brazilian cultural vocabulary and important grammar aspects of the language.
