In attending this, you get ready for the Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate Certification and also equip yourself with the essential skills needed for coveted SOC Analyst job roles across all industries. Additionally, prepare you for the following positions: Network security engineer, Security operations center (SOC) analyst and IT security operations specialist. The labs will be done thru NDG Portal and the students will have to register with NDG inside the netacad system as directed by the instructor and pay approximately $40.00 for a six months subscription. Prerequisites: CyberOps Associate students should have at least one of the following credentials or skills and knowledge. The prerequisite will need to be confirmed to the Coordinator before permission will be given to enroll in the course.
? CCNA v7 or Security+ certified
? Verifiably completed the CCNA curriculum in a Cisco accredited academy
? IT professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
? Currently enrolled in or graduated with a technology degree program with basic Windows and Linux system concepts, basic understanding of computer networks and binary and hexadecimal understanding.
For the latter an entrance examination may be taken to ascertain the prerequisites are met.
This course provides an overview of principles and applications in gerontology through a multidisciplinary approach. Current research findings and key concepts are discussed within and assessed throughout this course to examine common issues in special populations. Through this course, students will be able to comprehend knowledge of future clientele in a gerontological setting.
Practice developing information collaboratively in a wiki application in a controlled, organized fashion. Individually, each student will learn how to install and set up a wiki (such as MediaWiki, which drives Wikipedia); handle basic administrative tasks for the wiki; learn how to create and format wiki pages; link to other wiki pages; comment or even edit others' wiki pages; use the discussion feature to discuss pages with others; and use the history and watch features to document and monitor changes to wiki pages. Although MediaWiki may be the featured wiki application, this course can be changed to feature or include other applications such as Drupal or Joomla, depending on students' preferences. This course features a group information-development project.
This class is intended for anyone desiring to increase the power and impact of their speaking voice. Training in healthy vocal production is an essential part of speaking intentionally in any situation, from the stage or screen to the classroom or boardroom. In this course, you will learn a variety of techniques for preparing and utilizing your natural voice to speak confidently in a variety of environments. The first few classes will focus on active exercises designed to healthily engage the various aspects of vocal production, while the final sessions will practically apply what you have learned to scenes, speeches, interpersonal communication, or presentations.

This course will cover the history of human effort to shape the natural environment through the design of the built outdoor environment. The course will address knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors pertinent to the occupation of landscape architecture that are relevant to the professional development of the student. It will achieve this through the survey of theories and principles, and built works that have shaped landscape design from ancient times through the 21st century.

Students will learn tools, mechanics, elements, and principles of design, as well as cut flower identification, care, and handling. Students will make basic floral arrangements, which they will be able to take home.
