Fundamentals of mass production of apparel, focusing on the operation of industrial sewing and pressing equipment. Survey of materials selection and construction techniques used at all price levels of mass-produced apparel. Introduction to industry seam allowances. Study of fundamentals of French: conversation, basic writing, listening and reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and culture. This course fosters understanding of French-speaking people through cultural comparison and development of written and spoken communication. Combined with credit FREN-1411.
Fundamentals of pharmacology including recognition, calculation, labeling, packaging, and administration of common veterinary drugs, biologics, and therapeutic agents. Discussion of normal and abnormal responses to these agents. Prerequisite: Prior to registration for this course, applicants are required to complete an online orientation and meet with the program coordinator.
Must have taken Cliff’s Intro to Voiceover to be eligible for this class. The class builds on the techniques and industry knowledge established in Intro to Voiceover. This class is for those who would like to take their interest in voiceover beyond the classroom and into the industry. We will continue to analyze, perform, and critique audiobook and commercial copy. In addition, we will begin working on the growing field of e-learning narration. Limited to 8 students. An exploration and identification of maladaptive behavior including characteristics, classification, diagnosis, and treatment modalities. Topics include factors associated with defining and identifying abnormal behavior. Integrated with college credit SCWK 2331.
