What Does a CPT Certification Mean?
The Certified Production Technician (CPT) program is an industry recognized program that provides instruction on the core competencies of manufacturing production in order to raise the level of performance of entry-level production workers. The CPT certification will assist the individuals in finding higher-wage jobs by demonstrating to employers that they have foundational skills needed in manufacturing which would support a company's productivity and competitiveness.

About the Program
The CPT certification program consists of two courses that make up four individual certificate modules:
QCTC-1046: Production and Safety
- 1. Safety
- 2. Manufacturing Process & Production
QCTC-1003: Quality and Maintenance
- 3. Quality Practices & Measurement
- 4. Maintenance Awareness
NOTE: Candidates must earn all four certificates to receive the full CPT certification.
