Join Austin's Manufacturing Sector

Prepare for an entry-level job in Austin's thriving manufacturing sector through the Advanced Manufacturing Production (AMP) Program at Austin Community College. ACC's program was developed through collaboration with Austin's largest Advanced Manufacturing companies and consists of two courses.

About the Program

Each course lasts four to eight weeks and should be taken in the following order:

  1. QCTC-1046: Manufacturing Production Essentials
  2. QCTC-1003: Maintenance Quality Principles

Upon successful completion: You'll receive an Occupational Skills Award (OSA) that demonstrates to employers that you have the knowledge and skills needed for a manufacturing assembly job.

Want to increase your earning power and career advancement? Apply your AMP credits toward ACC's Advanced Manufacturing Degree and become a manufacturing technician.

To sign up for upcoming classes, register for one of the following joint sections:
