| This course combines a two-day live workshop, along with pre-course reading, and significant online/distance learning (DIL) coursework, and a proctored, written examination, to train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in USP<800> regulations and chemotherapy sterile compounding procedures. All course activities are designed to be completed within a 12-week semester. The two-day, hands-on workshop is held in our state-of-the-art training facility in Austin, Texas. All other coursework is completed online using our Blackboard Learning Management System. Hands-on training includes: chemotherapy calculations, chemo LVP, and SVP prep, etc. as well as use of biological safety cabinet, barrier isolator, and other chemotherapy compounding equipment. CPE activity completers will receive a frame-able certificate of completion, statement of ACPE accredited CE, and upload of ACPE CE credit for (40 hours, 4.0 CEUs) into CPE monitor. This is a Practice-Based activity. This is a Chemotherapy Certification Course. Prerequisites: Upon receipt of your online petition, you will be contacted to request that you scan the required documents to be evaluated as evidence that you meet the prerequisites.
