Gabriel A. Vega

Gabe Vega has computer experience that goes back several decades. Gabe graduated from Texas State with a BA in Communication then from St. Mary's University with a masters degree in Public Administration. He went on to work for the USDA for several years in Washington DC and Atlanta but decided public service was not what he wanted.

It was the late 90s, the dot com boom happened and it was a gold rush! Gabe moved back to Texas, enrolled at ACC and took several programming and networking classes at night, while working for internet startups during the day. During the 2000s he worked for several big and small companies all over Austin doing Web analytics, PCI security, Tech Support, CompTIA Training, System Administration, and advanced manufacturing. Gabe has a lot of experience around town with different companies doing many different things. He is an excellent resource for students wanting to know about real job opportunities and company culture around town.
