Aikido is a no punch, no kick art of self-defense. Using Aikido's throwing and pinning arts properly, an attack can be neutralized without inflicting serious injury. At its higher levels, it is an effective discipline for the development, integration and utilization of all human powers-physical, mental and spiritual. This course is for those who have had previous acting training, such as Acting Fundamentals. Using scenes (and monologues), the focus will be on strengthening text analysis and following inner impulses to create a powerful need to speak. The work in class will enliven the imagination and increase emotional availability and vulnerability for the actor. This class can be taken more than once, as it is different each time with new students, and new scenes to explore.

This course covers networking architecture, structure, security, and functions; introduces the principles and structure of IP addressing and the fundamentals of Ethernet concepts, media, and operations to provide a foundation for the curriculum. These components facilitate the connection of users, devices, applications, and data through the internet and across modern computer networks. Suggested prerequisite: A good level of understanding of computing and operating systems.
We will cover basic camera operation and controls: shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc. And, we will familiarize ourselves with the technical and aesthetic process of making photographs: composition, context, obvious and subtle themes and subject. We will learn how to make a simple and dynamic photographs. There will be several in class projects and critique to learn from each other. A point-and shoot camera will work, a camera with manual controls will give the best opportunity for learning how to get the desired results.
Intermediate WWW Authoring, HTML, and CSS

Publishing, design, and layout techniques for websites. Introduces HTML tables and forms. Demonstrates CSS styling of tables and forms. Introduces CSS page layout and interactive menu creation techniques. Hands-on experience in building web pages using techniques covered in class. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to World Wide Web Authoring, HTML and CSS, similar course, or equivalent experience.
This course is designed specifically for adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Students explore office procedures including appointment scheduling, records creation and maintenance, interpersonal communications, bookkeeping tasks, coding, billing, collecting, third party reimbursement, credit arrangements, and computer use in the office. This course combines a two-day, live workshop, along with online activities designed to train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in basic,
non-sterile, extemporaneous compounding procedures. Hands-on training includes: capsule preparation, ointments, creams, trochees,
suppositories, use of mortar and pestle, digital scale, graduated cylinders, hotplate, ointment mill, and other compounding equipment. The total
estimated time required to complete this course is 48 hours (live workshop combined with home-study); may be spread out over a period of from
2-weeks up to one-semester, depending on course section. CPE activity completers will receive a frame-able certificate of completion, ACPE
statement of credit, and upload of ACPE credit of 4.8 CEUs (48.0 hours) into CPE monitor. This is a Practice-Based activity. This is a non-sterile
compounding certification course. Prerequisites: Must be a certified (PTCB) Pharmacy Technician; or registered Pharmacist/ registered pharmacy
technician; or have completed an ASHP/ACPE Accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program; or have a minimum of six month of
pharmacy experience. This course may be converted to college credit. Integrated with credit PHRA-2271.
