Introduction to the Construction Industry Covering construction industry basics, students will study topics including OSHA 10 training requirements, construction math, hand and power tools, materials handling and construction drawings.
MATX-0101 is a short course offered through the Continuing Education department, staffed by ACC math instructors. Math Launch is a low cost opportunity for students to review and refresh previously learned math topics, and to reassess with the chance of improving their initial developmental math placement. By reviewing key skills before reassessing, students may be able to improve their developmental math placement by 1 or 2 levels!
