Course Description

This course will focus on the use of the World Wide Web (WWW) and the creation of a home page. Web browsers and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) are discussed. Students get hands-on experience building simple web pages in XHTML with hypertext links and graphics. Includes an overview of techniques that enhance and facilitate page creation. Suggested prerequisite: Familiarity with PC and browsing the Internet.

Meet The Instructor

Judith Cannon

Judy Cannon earned her B.S. in Computer Science from Southwest Texas State University. She owns and operates AnsurWeb Services, a Website Design, Hosting and CGI Programming company. Judy is an experienced programmer and software trainer, and has programmed in Perl, CGI, HTML, Javascript, C-Language, Fortran, Embedded Postscript and OSF/MOTIF.
