This course will introduce you to the program's basic functions and
uses. Through hands-on lessons, you will learn numerous shortcuts to quickly and efficiently set up worksheets. You will also learn how to use the function wizard to calculate statistics, future values, and more. In addition, you will get tips on sorting and analyzing data, creating three-dimensional workbooks, and automating frequently-repeated tasks with macros and buttons. Software requirements: PC: Windows 10 or later operating systems. Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible. Microsoft Excel, a subscription to Office 365, or Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019.
This course is designed to help students identify and understand the benefits of weight training and how weight training affects the body. This course will provide an overview of irrigation systems appropriate for landscape and small farm usage. Topics include determining plant and landscape needs, selecting equipment and layout design, sizing components, water conservation, installation, and troubleshooting. Hands-on activities will take place when possible.
Introduction to scripting languages including the use of basic data types, control structures, regular expressions, input/output, and textual analysis. Covers basic JavaScript scripting features: code placement, events and event handlers, methods, functions and parameters, attributes, JavaScript objects, and underlying it all, the document object model. Work with variables, operators, if/then/else control structures, loops, and arrays. Suggested prerequisites: Introduction to Programming Languages or prior programming experience; good knowledge of HTML coding or completion of Intermediate World Wide Web Authoring, HTML, and CSS.
Taught by a native speaker, students in this class will expand on what they have learned in Conversational Italian I. This course will help students develop better listening to real conversations, practice in speaking, and focus on correct pronunciation. Prerequisite: Conversational Italian I. Computer applications specific to business-related software. Emphasizes the concurrent development of office skills and computer knowledge. This skill development specifically includes MS Windows and Outlook. This course covers the required skill sets on the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) specialist-level exam for Outlook. Formerly known as POFI 1204 Computer Fundamentals: MS Windows/Outlook.
