Publishing, design, and layout techniques for websites. Introduces HTML tables and forms. Demonstrates CSS styling of tables and forms. Introduces CSS page layout and interactive menu creation techniques. Hands-on experience in building web pages using techniques covered in class. Suggested prerequisite: Introduction to World Wide Web Authoring, HTML and CSS, similar course, or equivalent experience.
Learn the techniques for entering the international marketplace. Emphasis on the impact and dynamics of sociocultural, demographic, economic,
technological, and political-legal factors in the foreign trade environment. Topics include patterns of world trade, internationalization of the firm, and operating procedures of the multinational enterprise. Required textbook is available at RGC bookstore (512) 474-2607. Learn: pricing, websites, selling, photographing, online selling plus a new jewelry technique each night. This will include: mold making, resins, epoxy clays, using photos in jewelry, making bead caps, combining techniques and much more! You’ll have new pieces to wear each class. Supplies galore will be available so you can express your own style. Wear clothes for creating + bring a snack + your readers. Plan on meeting new friends. All supplies, a free book & materials provided by the instructor. Take both versions of the class to double your skills.
Strategies for Today's Jobs offers personalized job coaching and guidance for a successful job search to increase your chance of getting hired. Classes are designed for participants with a wide range of backgrounds and goals, from new job seekers to those with extensive career histories. The course offering includes guidance through all stages of the job search-from finding a job to negotiating a salary-and participants will gain access to JobScan, YouScience, BigInterview, and Handshake. This course is open to students, staff, alumni, and community members. There is no tuition associated with this course.
Continuation and progression from beginning volleyball. Students with mastery of the fundamental skills of volleyball will learn more advanced strategies and skills of the game.
